As far as finance is concerned, bankruptcy is probably the lowest point in a company or an individual’s life. The dictionary defines bankruptcy as such,
n. the state of being completely lacking in a particular quality or value.
I’m not going to talk about declaring bankruptcy in financial terms, though. 🙂 There’s a popular term that’s being thrown around lately called “email bankruptcy”. This is usually done by someone who has accumulated (and slacked over) a lot of emails and has failed to respond to many of them.
Google the spark in the jungle of social networks
Thanks to one of my friends, I got my Google+ invite on June 30th. I woke up and found an invite in my inbox and immediately, I signed up. Having seen the screenshots and videos of it, I assumed it to be better than facebook and the rest.
My social networking stint actually started with orkut, like many other Indians and I was perfectly happy using it occasionally during my college days till a bloke called Zuckerberg came along and started facebook.
The Smart Phonedler
iGreetings! In today’s world, anything without an “i” as a prefix, hasn’t got much value to it. The ahambhaavam (sense of I – ego) has an altogether different meaning these days. It’s all about whether you possess a coveted iDevice or not and if you don’t, or if you are even remotely nonchalant about its existence in your neighbour’s pocket, you’ll be looked down with disdain. It’s hard to not be amused about how cellphone companies cash in on people’s ignorance and thrust on them, pieces of silicon with a highly polished LCD screen.
My favourite tools
So, I was musing about what to blog next and had this idea of posting all the utilities/programs/services I frequently use and of course thank the person who influenced me with the software. I’m rather obsessed with many of these tools and if you think a tool you use is better than what I use, ping me @borncrusader at twitter or identi.ca 🙂 We’ll debate about it and possibly I’ll learn about the tool you use too.
ActionScript 30 and OOP
I’ve always been an active supporter of Flash and ActionScript and loved to develop interesting animations through Flash and AS2.0. The latest installment of Flash is the CS3 which includes a new version of ActionScript, ie 3.0. AS3.0 is completely Object Oriented and is very similar to Java & C++. So, programmers who have experience in either of these languages would have very less difficulty in learning AS3.0. In this blog, I’ll elucidate my experiences with OOP and AS3.
Blogging Regularly - An excellent idea
I’ve always wondered how people find time to blog. Now, I’ve devised an excellent idea that would inspire me to blog daily. The idea is to list the sites that I visit daily. As I wade through the Internet, I come across many exciting and interesting sites. From today, I’m going to list them.
An excellent resource to learn about recursion. I stumbled upon this site when I was searching for an effective algorithm to perform string algorithm.
