A series well won

Merry Christmas to you all! The new year is round the corner and it is the time to make resolutions (if any). If you well, ask me about mine for the new year, I would blurt out “/etc/resolv.conf”. (Why blood??? Aah.. Same blood..). I wish you all a very happy new year and puthu varshathulayaavathu konjam nalla pullayya irungappa. (enna maadhiri.. :P).

Coming to the first subject of this post, it is #cricket (too much of denting and tweeting has taken its toll on me). India have won the Karbonn Mobiles Cup against Srilanka. A well deserved victory, I should say. Sad that Srilanka were plagued with a lot of injuries which led to key players like Murali missing out! One thing that was satisfying was the battering meted out to Mendis and Malinga. At least people will now realise that unconventional isn’t always better! Kudos to India. And I hope BCCI arranges a few more test series in the coming months. Test Cricket is really exciting! How about an International Test World Cup?

Coming back to resolutions. My main resolve for the new year is to reduce my carbon footprint whenever and wherever possible! What if Copenhagen had failed? The local Kaathavaraayans and Kangu Kandhasamys can take the initiative. I hope Dr. Vijay and T.R take some movie about climate change and global warming. Padam odutho illayo, makkalukka kandippa reach aagum.

Sayonara!
